    Man dies after his vehicle collided with a tractor trailer on the TCH near Gander yesterday

    The lone occupant of the car was ejected from the vehicle and died on the scene.

    A 34 year old man has died after his vehicle collided with a tractor trailer between Gander and Benton early yesterday morning. Gander RCMP say it happened around 2:30 a.m. on Thursday on the Trans Canada Highway. A vehicle travelling westbound collided with an eastbound tractor trailer. The lone occupant of the car was ejected from the vehicle and died on the scene. The driver of the tractor trailer sustained minor injuries. The investigation is continuing.
