Man charged after shelter in place incident in South Brook last night

    Police say Gerard Fowlow is facing a number of firearms related charges and no injuries were reported although RCMP did get a number of calls about shots being fired.

    A 56-year-old man has been charged after Springdale RCMP advised residents of South Brook just before 5 p.m. yesterday to lock their doors and stay away from windows. Police say Gerard Fowlow is facing a number of firearms related charges and no injuries were reported although RCMP did get a number of calls about shots being fired. The shelter in place was listed at 11:45 last night.
