RCMP have charged a 33-year-old man with impaired driving after allegedly driving a vehicle in the town of Stephenville, without a front tire. Around 3:30 in the afternoon, police received multiple reports about it and found the vehicle in the Stephenville Mall parking lot. It was missing the front tire. The driver showed signs of impairment and was arrested. At the detachment, he provided breath samples that were nearly four times the legal limit. The man was released from custody and is set to appear in court at a later date. Police seized the vehicle and the man’s driver’s licence was suspended.
