Energy and Technology Minister Steve Crocker says the release of the province’s natural resources assessment is more than just a technical document but a strategic tool.

Both the provincial and federal governments have now put in place legislation to enable the development of offshore renewable energy in Newfoundland and Labrador. Industry, Energy and Technology Minister Steve Crocker says the release of the province’s natural resources assessment is more than just a technical document but a strategic tool. Crocker says teams have been working hard since 2023 to evaluate the discovered natural gas resources in 18 key areas within the Jeanne d’arc basin.
