Mayor Jim Parsons says leaves in clear plastic bags can be dropped off at a location near the old water supply near Lundrigan Drive where the leaves will be composted.
Leaf Collection is set to wrap up this week as part of Corner Brook’s regular garbage pickup. If you missed getting your leaves to the curb, there is still a chance to get rid of them in an environmentally friendly way. Mayor Jim Parsons says leaves in clear plastic bags can be dropped off at a location near the old water supply near Lundrigan Drive where the leaves will be composted. Parsons says this helps keep leaves out of storm sewers. This is only for leaves, branches cannot be dropped off.
