A popular camp at the beginning of Gros Morne National Park will open this year. Last year, Anglican Bishop John Organ announced the Killdevil Camp and Conference Centre would not be opening due to a potential $100,000 deficit needed to pay staff had it opened. Synod Executive decided to take a year to find a new and creative and self-sufficient way forward for Killdevil Camp. Organ announced on his facebook page that Killdevil Camp and Conference centre will be opening this season.
