It's National Foster Families Month and the theme is "Together We Thrive: Celebrating Foster Families"

    In Newfoundland and Labrador, there are approximately 560 foster families dedicated to helping children and youth through complex situations by providing safe and nurturing homes.

    October is National Foster Families Month and this year’s theme is Together We Thrive: Celebrating Foster Families. It’s an opportunity to honour and recognize foster families for their dedication and commitment to children and youth in care. In Newfoundland and Labrador, there are approximately 560 foster families dedicated to helping children and youth through complex situations by providing safe and nurturing homes.
