It's election day in Newfoundland and Labrador, polls close at 8 p.m.

    This is the day when communities throughout NL will select who will be on council. Polling stations opened at 8 o'clock this morning and will close at 8 p.m. Voters are reminded to check with their local municipality to find out where to vote. In Corner Brook, there are four polling stations including St Michael’s church on Park Drive, the Civic Centre, St. Mary’s church on Curling Street and All Saints church on Clarence Street. Residents MUST vote at their designated polling station and can easily check this at www.cornerbrookvotes.com or by calling 709-637-1666. Voters have to be at least 1
