Indigenous Minister Scott Reid says the Women in Leadership conference was "enlightening"

    He listened to what was being said and found it very enlightening to hear women in leadership talk about their experiences where often times where they were the only woman in a room of men.

    The Minister responsible for Indigenous Affairs and Reconciliation, Scott Reid also attended the Women in Leadership event. He listened to what was being said and found it very enlightening to hear women in leadership talk about their experiences where often times where they were the only woman in a room of men. The Minister brought greetings on behalf of government. He says these women are natural leaders,  Chiefs like Joanne Miles, O’Dell Pike, Jenny Brake and Marilyn John. Reid says there was a lot of teaching at the event and was touching and emotional on times.
