A proposal to expand the Indian Head Hatchery in Stephenville is in the hands of the environment department looking for comments. The plan is to improve quality and increase salmon aquaculture production for the province. Public comments will be accepted until July 24th, and may be emailed to EAProjectComments@gov.nl.ca. Printed copies of the EIS will be placed in the Stephenville and Harbour Breton public libraries.
