RCMP caught four impaired drivers over this past weekend and one of them was in Deer Lake. On Sunday, (September 28) at approximately 12:40 a.m., police located a vehicle, crashed along the Trans-Canada Highway. The 28 year old male driver was assessed and released by paramedics. At the detachment, the man’s breath samples were above the legal limit.
Other impaired drivers were packed up outside Grand Falls-Windsor, Clarenville, and Natuashish. All four are set to appear in court at later dates to answer to charges of impaired operation. Their licences were suspended and the vehicles were seized by police.
