The 45-year-old Western Bay man blew twice the legal limit at the detachment.
A 45-year-old Western Bay man is facing an impaired driving charge after police were called to a local fast food outlet in Harbour Grace. RCMP say they got a call shortly before midnight Saturday saying the driver had purchased food at the drive-thru window and he appeared to be intoxicated. The vehicle was stopped on Route 70 in Victoria. Back at the detachment, the man blew twice the legal limit. His driver’s licence was suspended and the vehicle was seized and impounded.
