    Immigration Minister to announce partnership to promote NL

    Gerry Byrne will announce details of a multi-year partnership to feature and promote Newfoundland and Labrador internationally as an ideal place to live, work and raise a family.

    Immigration Minister Gerry Byrne will be joined by members of professional United Kingdom football club Barrow AFC, at King George V Field, in St.John’ today.  Byrne will announce details of a multi-year partnership to feature and promote Newfoundland and Labrador internationally as an ideal place to live, work and raise a family. He will also be joined by representatives of the Newfoundland and Labrador Soccer Association and the Association for New Canadians. A news event is set to get underway at 3:30 this afternoon.
