A pair of Grade 12 students at Immaculate Heart of Mary school in Corner Brook will be bringing support for global justice issues to the local stage at the RAC tonight. This inspiring event is organized by Carly Rae Mouland and Grace Higgins, who are also young adult members of DPCC or Development and Peace-Caritas Canada. Tonight’s showcase will feature up and coming young talented students from the Deer Lake and Corner Brook areas. Mouland says in May, programs officer Camillo Coral, who works with partners in Ukraine, Sierra Leone and Nigeria, facilitated a workshop at Immaculate Heart of Mary with their junior high and senior high students. Higgins says there will be three performances at tonight’s showcase, which gets underway 8 o’clock at the RAC.
