The Zuiderdam is due to leave port at 3 o'clock this afternoon.
What a sight to see another cruise ship in the Port of Corner Brook. The Holland America Line cruise ship, the Zuiderdam docked around 7 o’clock this morning carrying over 1900 passengers and 840 crew. Jackie Chow is the CEO of the Port of Corner Brook. She says the vessel was here last year for 3 calls and is due back July 26th, as well as the next couple of years. Chow says this vessel was scheduled to go to Red Bay but diverted to Corner Brook. It’s easy to see the tourists around today in the downtown area, walking the trails just outside Bayfm. Chow says there are a number of tours taking place today, within Corner Brook, Gros Morne, Bottle Cove. The Zuiderdam is due to leave port at 3 o'clock this afternoon.
