A 41-year old man Humber Arm South man is facing charges after police allege he stole a vehicle. The RNC say say they received a call around 5:30 Sunday morning after a blue Ford Bronco collided with the guardrail on the Trans-Canada highway near St. Jude’s. The driver took off at a high rate of speed.

Then shortly after 9 p.m. police tried to pull the driver over on the Trans-Canada highway near George’s Lake, but the driver again fled from police. Yesterday morning the vehicle was spotted on the south shore of the Bay of Islands, where the driver narrowly avoided colliding with multiple vehicles while trying to get away from police.
