At 6:22 p.m. on Saturday, police say a man was been arrested in the Terra Nova National Park area.

A scary situation for drivers on the Trans Canada Highway on Saturday evening as RCMP were in a high speed chase involving a transport truck. Police issued a warning on Facebook around 6:15 p.m. saying they were trying to get the driver to stop near Gambo. At 6:22 p.m. they posted that a man had been arrested in the area of Terra Nova National Park. No other details have yet been released.

In video footage posted to Facebook, the truck could be seen fleeing from police with only one front tire. Images show the truck was owned by Atlantic Grocery Distributors, however it's not known if the driver was associated with the company.
