Jack Walsworth is a Misconduct Officer with the head of Anglican Churches in Canada. Recently, he looked into issues with the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist church in Corner Brook. It involved allegations of abuse against former Dean Catherine Short. The 129-page document outlined serious abuse behaviours conducted by Bishop John Organ, who publicly spoke about his rationale for firing the Dean back in January. Walsworth recommended the reinstatement of the Dean and Organ was ordered to take a leave until his retirement in October. Neither of which has happened to date. In an email Walsworth says, “The Metropolitan and the Provincial Chancellor, together, will determine the final outcome. They are being supported by the National Chancellor."
