Gros Morne's Sugar Hill Inn getting financial boost from government

    Government’s investment will leverage $120,000 from other sources, including an investment from the inn’s owners, for a combined project investment of $200,000. 

    An upscale Inn offering accommodations to visitors in Gros Morne National Park is getting a boost from government. Sugar Hill Inn is getting a repayable loan of $80,000 to enhance and upgrade their offerings. Nestled in Norris Point with 10 rooms and a 60-seat dining room, this Inn was established in 1992. This project will see the business modernize and upgrade an older section of the inn, as well as refresh common-use areas and exterior landscaping. Government’s investment will leverage $120,000 from other sources, including an investment from the inn’s owners, for a combined project investment of $200,000.
