Yesterday, Bayfm news included a story from Richard Dewey of Deer Lake, who has been more than a decade now trying to get the truth about cancer causing creosote in the town’s water supply. Lawyer Bob Buckingham is working with Dewey on a class action lawsuit, and told Bayfm News, government has started an investigation. The Department of Government Modernization and Service Delivery, did not agree to a phone interview, but issued this statement…
“Government recently received a complaint alleging that hazardous materials have been disposed near residential areas, a water supply, and in a decommissioned landfill in Deer Lake.
