The mobile clinics will be housed in a custom-designed vehicle with the required medical supplies and equipment to transport a team of medical professionals.
Government has announced two mobile health care clinics will be established in central and on the east coast. Health Minister Tom Osborne says these mobile clinics will bring care to people in communities who require non-urgent care and who also don’t have a family doctor or nurse practitioner. He says they will be looking at adding two more mobile health care clinics soon. The mobile clinics will be housed in a custom-designed vehicle with the required medical supplies and equipment to transport a team of medical professionals, including nurse practitioners, registered nurses, clerical staff, and family physicians, to areas with limited access to primary care.
