Work will include the rehabilitation of Sections of TCH Between St. Judes and Corner Brook, as well as culvert replacements on TCH between Pasadena and Corner Brook.
Government has announced more than $250 million for highway construction projects this year and next with some for the west coast. Work will include the rehabilitation of Sections of TCH Between St. Judes and Corner Brook, as well as culvert replacements on TCH between Pasadena and Corner Brook. In the coming days, the Department of Transportation and Infrastructure will begin issuing tenders for these projects to begin this construction season. In January, residents were invited to provide input on roads to be considered for the plan and over 500 suggestions were received. While there has been a lot of spending on highways over the past several years, there hasn’t been an increase in the amount of road work being done. This year’s plan includes larger projects so contractors can work more efficiently, cutting down on the moving of equipment in and out of multiple places.
