Government announces funding for Cytochrome Technologies Inc for decarbonization

    Industry Minister Andrew Parsons says this will  help them develop a new carbon sequestration method.

    Cytochrome Technologies Inc. is working on a new technology that offers a significant opportunity to meet decarbonization targets while strengthening the province’s clean technology sector. Last week, government announced nearly $438K for the company. Industry Minister Andrew Parsons says this will  help them develop a new carbon sequestration method. He says the method is environmentally sustainable and offers significant economic advantages due to the potential recovery of valuable byproducts like nickel, cobalt and chromium. Government’s investment will leverage funding from other sources totaling for a total project investment of more than $1.2 M
