Education and Communications coordinator Trina Voitk says one is a beautification project in the Crestview Heights area.
Since 1993, Conservation Corps Newfoundland and Labrador has provided youth with meaningful employment and training to cultivate a strong conservation ethic. This year, a team of two young people are working on community clean up and beautification. Education and Communications coordinator Trina Voitk says it’s in the Crestview Heights area. Voitk says there are also two different projects taking place at Grenfell Campus. A Burgeo team consists of twelve youth and Voitk says they’re working on the success of other green teams. CCNL has employed more than 3000 youth on over 700 projects in more than 140 communities across the province.
