The operator - a youth - remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators. The ATV was seized and the youth was not injured in the collision.
A 70-year-woman is dead after being struck by an ATV in Ship Cove and it was being driven by a young person. Bay St. George RCMP say they got a call about the crash along the main road at 7 o’clock last night. She was rushed to hospital by emergency medical crews, where she died from injuries.
