"Feed the Need" this weekend with music and fill the shelves at the Bay of Islands Food Bank

    Kin chair Lenny Benoit says the Cover Girls, Roby Jean band, Merrymaker, Mill City Mavericks, the Broadway Blues band and D.J. Two Jays will be there.

    The need for food is never ending at the Bay of Islands Food bank Network so this weekend, there will be a special fundraiser called “Feed the Need.” organized by the Kinsmen Club of Corner Brook, the event gets underway at 4 p.m.  this Saturday at the Royal Canadian Legion. Kin chair Lenny Benoit says this is actually a nationwide event through Kin Canada to help stock the shelves at local food banks. He says the Cover Girls, Roby Jean band, Merrymaker, Mill City Mavericks, the Broadway Blues band and D.J. Two Jays will be there. Admission is through a monetary donation or non-perishable food items.
