Fake $100 bill passed at a Corner Brook restaurant

    Businesses are advised to check any currency before accepting payment, and report any suspicious activity.

    Corner Brook RNC are looking into a case of counterfeit money being passed at a local restaurant. Cst James Cadigan says a customer paid for a meal with a fake $100 bill at the Maple Valley Drive establishment Tuesday afternoon. 

    Businesses are advised to check any currency before accepting payment, and report any suspicious activity.
