RCMP are looking into a break and enter that happened at a vacation property in Port aux Basques. Police received a report about it just before 7 p.m. on Tuesday (October 7th). Cpl Jesse O’Donaghey says extensive damage was done to the short-term rental on Grand Bay Road East. This included flooding the unit with water and tossing a television off a balcony. RCMP say personal items were also stolen from current occupants. The investigation is continuing with support from Forensic Identification Services.
