Environment Minister receives a number of appeals on the decision to green light World Energy GH2

    Under the Environmental Protection Act, an aggrieved person has up to 60 days to submit an appeal of a minister’s decision and the minister has up to 30 days from the receipt of an appeal to respond.

    World Energy GH2 hasn’t cleared the environmental assessment just yet. The Environment minister has received a number of appeals of the decision on April 9, 2024, to release the Project from further environmental assessment. Under the Environmental Protection Act, an aggrieved person has up to 60 days to submit an appeal of a minister’s decision and the minister has up to 30 days from the receipt of an appeal to respond.
