Elaine Huxter of Steady Brook to be invested to Order of NL for Volunteerism

    Huxter and 7 others others will be invested during a ceremony on January 27th, at Government House.

    A Steady Brook woman is among eight people to be invested to the Order of NL. Elaine Huxter is being recognized for her contributions as a volunteer. Huxter and others will be invested during a ceremony on January 27th, at Government House. This will be the 18th investiture ceremony since the first appointments were made in 2004, bringing the total number of recipients to 159. The Order of Newfoundland and Labrador is the province’s highest honour and recognizes individuals who have demonstrated excellence and achievement in any field of endeavour benefiting in an exemplary manner the province and its residents.
