Melvin Rideout and another man, Mark Gionet, helped the cow moose  continue her adventure.

This story has a happy ending…..A Cormack man didn’t hesitate to help a moose in distress this week. Melvin Rideout says while driving on the TCH close to Corner Brook Wednesday morning, he noticed the animal take an “ungraceful fall” when the moose jumped over the median and was unable to roll over to stand up back on its feet.

Rideout and another man, Mark Gionet, helped the cow moose  continue her adventure. Rideout says sadly some passing vehicles did not slow down much.

Thank you to Melvin and Mark for jumping into action, getting the highway and moose, moving again.
