A 42-year-old Deer Lake woman was picked up very early this morning for impaired driving. At around 12:10 a.m., at a checkpoint in the town, the driver showed signs of impairment, failed a roadside breath test, and was driving without valid registration. At the detachment she blew twice the legal limit, her license was suspended, and the vehicle was seized and impounded. She is due to appear in court at the end of November.
