When people turn 100 years old, it’s a significant milestone full of life’s memories and growing family. So, turning 108 must be pretty special. At the Deer Lake Manor recently, Frances Bennett, celebrated an incredible 108 years! Long Range Mountains MP Carol Anstey was there on that day, saying it was an honour to present her with a congratulatory birthday certificate. Anstey says in Fanny’s lifetime, she has witnessed more change than most of us could imagine -- Through it all, her strength, grace, and wisdom have been an inspiration to everyone lucky enough to know her.
