A Deer Lake man who had been wanted by police for a month, was arrested in Rocky Harbour last week. 44-year-old Owen Barnes had been on the lam since October 6th and RCMP believed he may be staying on the Northern Peninsula. Barnes was wanted for possession for the purpose of trafficking controlled drugs and substances, and failing to comply with court orders.
