The company says the damage was caused by storm conditions.
Bell Aliant customers in La Scie are facing a cellular service outage after storm-related damage to a radio tower in the community knocked out cellular coverage this week.
The company says the damage has left the affected area without the ability to send text messages, use mobile data or place phone calls, including 911 calls.
Bell Aliant says crews are working to restore service. A mobile cell site is currently in transit and will be activated as soon as it arrives later this week.
Customers with devices that support Wi-Fi Calling can still make and receive calls when connected to a Wi-Fi network.
