The season will run form June 4th and end October 22nd with 22 more ship calls, about 31,000 passengers, and 16, 000 crew.

The Corner Brook Port Corporation has announced details of this year’s Cruise Ship visits. Cruise Marketing Coordinator Patti Ricketts says the season actually started earlier than ever before on March 10th with the cruise line Ponant during a winter cruise. She says the season will officially start June 4th and end October 22nd with 22 more ship calls, about 31,000 passengers, and 16, 000 crew.

Ricketts says last year was a banner year with 36 port calls but this year’s numbers are on par with the past few years. She says three new ships will cruise into port for the first time ever, and the Queen Mary 2 will be back in Corner Brook on October 13th. The last time the Queen Mary 2 visited Corner Brook was in 2018, with the inaugural visit during 2004.
