Corner Brook woman runs from RCMP, gets caught hiding with cocaine and weapons

    Police say Angela Marie McCarthy was arrested after being spotted on Main Street in Port Saunders Saturday evening.

    A 40-year-old Corner Brook woman is facing charges after trying to get away from the RCMP in Port Saunders. Police say Angela Marie McCarthy was arrested after being spotted on Main Street Saturday evening. She ran away but officers located her hiding outside a nearby home. RCMP say she had cocaine, multiple knives, a cellular device and other items consistent with drug trafficking activities.
