Corner Brook Transit to extend services to weeknights and Saturdays early in the new year

    Councillor Donna Luther says transit has experienced strong and sustained growth over the past four years, with ridership increasing again this year by more than ten percent.

    Starting early in the new year Corner Brook Transit will be extending weekday service, meaning the bus will run until 11 o’clock at night. It will also include bus runs on Saturday. During this week’s Budget 2026 presentation, Councillor Donna Luther says transit has experienced strong and sustained growth over the past four years, with ridership increasing again this year by more than ten percent. Council will also look at expanding the service to Sundays in the future as ridership continues to grow.
