The Corner Brook Rotary Music Festival is celebrating its 60th anniversary this year. This year’s festival will take place March 10th at the Arts and Culture Centre, as well as several churches. Spokesperson Paula Butt says the music festival is a great opportunity for young performers who can perform in front of an adjudicator who provides feedback on their performance. Butt says she’s been involved in the music festival since 2002 and has seen how kids mature each year. She says last year, they handed out more than $10,000 in prizes and scholarships. It’s open to all young people and the public. Registration is available online at rotarymusicfestcb.com. The Rosebowl competition will take place March 14th and the final concert will be March 16th.
