At around 8:30 last night, an RNC officer on general patrol on the TCH near Gallants stopped a vehicle after it was found to be doing 157 km/h in a 100 km/h zone. The 18 year old male driver had his vehicle and driver’s license seized and was charged under the Highway Traffic Act.
RNC officers were responding to an incident just before midnight at a residence on Gibbons Avenue in Corner Brook, they arrested a 39 year old woman for breeching a release order. She has a court date in January 2025. About five minutes later, also on Gibbons Avenue, police arrested a 43 year old woman who had a warrant out for her arrest.
Shortly after 12:30 a.m, an RNC officer on general patrol on Main Street located an 18 year old woman in violation of her Release Order. She was arrested to appear in court today. Shortly before midnight, police stopped a vehicle with an expired registration on West Street. The 37 year old man failed the approved screening device. As a result his driver’s license and vehicle were seized and he was charged under the Highway Traffic Act..
