A fourth vehicle was seized on Humber Road just before 1 p.m., after the driver fled from a traffic stop but the driver fled after being identified. A warrant has been issued.
RNC charged two drivers and seized four vehicles in the Corner Brook regions in one 24-hour period last week. On Thursday (Jan. 29) around 2:20 a.m., police pulled a vehicle over on Griffin Drive and charged a 24-year-old man with impaired driving. His drivers license was suspended and the vehicle seized.
Just before noon, RNC caught a 47-year-old suspended driver near Western Memorial Hospital and seized the vehicle. Shortly thereafter, officers seized a third vehicle on Tenth Avenue in Pasadena and a 43-year-old from Deer Lake was issued tickets for suspended driving.
