Yesterday (Tuesday) was the cut off date to book an appointment to have bulk garbage picked up in Corner Brook. This year, residents were required to make an appointment rather than set a day for pick up along a city street. As well, residents can also drop off bulk garbage at the Wildove landfill site without having to pay a fee. Donny Burden is the city’s Director of Engineering. He says the cut off date was extended and they have a number of calls to catch up on the next two weeks.
