Corner Brook MHA speaks on what 50 new housing units will mean

    Gerry Byrne says there are 625 housing units in the city and these 50 extra will make a big difference, and the 32 dilapidated units in the area have been removed making the neighborhood look so much better.

He says there are 625 housing units in the city and these 50 extra will make a big difference and the 32 dilapidated units in the area have been removed making the neighborhood look so much better. Byrne says the RFP will also open doors to employment for people in the area and companies have the opportunity to build modular housing units. He says having accessibility is a basic human right and the ten wheelchair accessible units were a priority.
