In a statement yesterday written from his perspective, the son of Gerry Byrne spoke about his father’s retirement. Corner Brook Mayor Jim Parsons is also seeking the nomination and says for the past eight years as mayor, he’s learned what matters most to the people of this city—He says he’s ready for the race.
