Corner Brook Mayor says traffic cameras will be installed in the city

    Jim Parsons says there will be signage to let people know they are being recorded.

    Corner Brook Mayor Jim Parsons says speed cameras will soon be installed in the city at intersections and high traffic areas. He says officials will be in the city to carry out assessments and speak with enforcement officers. Parsons says a pilot project is already underway on the east coast. Parsons says there will be signage to let people know they are being recorded. The matter was discussed during last night’s public council meeting.
