He says it’s okay to use plastic markers on property lines but nothing else but metal markers and rocks can act as projectiles for spotters, which is very dangerous.
It’s that time of year when snow plows are making the rounds clearing the streets and roads in Corner Brook. The city has a new snowblower this year, which should help keep our streets safer during commutes. Mayor Jim Parsons says part of the process unfortunately is the resulting damage done to residents’ lawns. He says it’s okay to use plastic markers on property lines but nothing else but metal markers and rocks can act as projectiles for spotters, which is very dangerous. Damage caused by city snow plows should be reported by calling 637-1666.
