The Mayor of Corner Brook says while there are challenges with getting some specialists, NL Health Services is doing a good job with recruitment in this region. Jim Parsons says last week, a class of nurses graduated from the Western Regional School of Nursing and 75 percent of them have agreed to stay here. He says that’s why it’s important to have the school in the city. Parsons says it’s tough sometimes to convince people to come here but Corner Brook is an ideal location.
