The city of Corner Brook is looking at making changes to ATV regulations to allow a connection to the Bay of Islands Yacht Club in Curling. A Notice of Motion was filed during Monday night’s public council meeting. The Club is a non-profit organization that includes a full-service laundry, washrooms, showers, members lounge, and a 70-boat capacity that operates from May to October. Mayor Jim Parsons says this is a prime location for ATV riders & tourists to stop. The new ATV route will include the addition of Pikes Avenue, Connors Road, and Bartletts Avenue. Council will vote on the amendment during the next public meeting.
