Corner Brook homeowners reminded to get the necessary permit for renos

    Corner Brook Mayor Jim Parsons says this is not a cash grab and without permits on file, it could stall the sale of a house.

    Spring and summer are seasons when many homeowners decide to begin renovations or complete major repairs. Corner Brook Mayor Jim Parsons is reminding residents to get a proper work permit from city hall. He says this is not a cash grab and without permits on file, it could stall the sale of a house. Parsons says having a permit is a necessary part of safety and it is easy to get one.
