Corner Brook council spends $3K more on travel for the first half of 2025

    Mayor Jim Parsons attended the MNL Symposium in Gander and the FCM Conference in Ottawa for a total of Just over $5000.

    Corner Brook city council members spent 3K more than last year on travel with this year’s total from June to January at more 15K.  During Monday night‘s public meeting, councillor Pamela Gill presented a breakdown on travel expenses.

    Gill says that may seem like a lot of money but these meetings are beneficial. Mayor Jim Parsons attended the MNL Symposium in Gander and the FCM Conference in Ottawa for a total of Just over $5000. Deputy Mayor  Linda Chaisson and Councillor Pam Keeping also attended the FCM Conference - Ottawa at nearly $5K close to $6K each.
